Tanzania

Tanzania is another large African country with a population of around 37 million people. The country is rich with diversity and plenty of tourist attractions.

Tanzania, the largest country in East Africa, includes the spice islands of Zanzibar, Pemba, and Mafia and contains Africa’s highest point—Kilimanjaro, at 5,895 meters (19,340 feet). Kilimanjaro, a dormant volcano, is snow-capped even though it is near the Equator.

The wilderness areas are simply breathtaking, combining wooded areas with beautiful clearings and large river systems. The Ruaha River runs through the country and has one of the largest populations of hippo in Africa.
