All about the Big Cats of the Serengeti Safari.

Overview

This safari takes us to three incredible safari destinations in Tanzania, all in search of big cats.

Although this is a big cat safari, there is an abundance of other wildlife across all three destinations to view and this safari offers a variety of game viewing opportunities. Along with exceptional game viewing, the safari offers unique and diverse scenery, whether it be during the safari or transferring between camps, this safari is designed to get you up close and personal with the big cats of africa and enjoy the scenery and sights along the way.

This safari leads us into the world renowned Ngorongoro Crater, for any nature lover and safari adventurist this is definitely a bucket list destination not to be missed. The diversity of wildlife is simply mind blowing, at any given point, there is a rich array of wildlife to be seen.

Leaving the Ngorongoro Crater we head to our second destination of the safari, Ndutu Conservation Area. This area is very well known for its big cat activitiy, with beautiful wide open spaces offering great photographic opportunities of cheetah, the area also boasts some beautiful woodland areas where we will go in search of leopards. Ndutu has become very well known for its tree climbing lions, which is very exciting in itself, there are few places that one can go to photograph tree climbing lions such as Ndutu.

Our final destination leads into the eastern section of the Serengeti to Ehlane Plains. This area of the Serengeti is absolutely magnificent. The area is filled with vast plains and beautiful rocky outcrops, which offers some unique photographic opportunities as we go in search of the big cats up on these beautiful rocky outcrops. It is the perfect way to end what is a truly exciting, action packed and unique safari experience.
